Please can we remind our patients that prescription repeats take 72 hours(3 working days) to process, and this does not include weekends or Bank Holidays.

With the long Bank holiday coming up at the end of the month please can you ensure that your prescription is requested in plenty of time especially as the surgery will be closed for four days.

Unfortunately, we have had incidents where because medication has not been ordered in time our Dispensary and Reception team have suffered abuse and therefore we remind our patients that we follow the NHS Zero Tolerance Policy.

The NHS operates a ‘zero tolerance’ attitude to all forms of abuse therefore such behaviour or the use of inappropriate words causing distress and/or constituting harassment will not be tolerated, and could lead to prosecution.
